WEDDING AFTER PARTY
We are the go to place for a wedding after party. Weddings that take place in venues like Battello, Liberty House, Hudson House, Hudson & Co and other Jersey City wedding venues often come to Dorrian’s to host their after parties. We are located in Newport Jersey City across the street from Marriot Courtyard and 1 block from The Westin and Doubletree.
Information on how to book a wedding after party:
Popular option. If you want your wedding after party to be set up as cash bar (everyone pays for themselves) then all we need from you is to give us a call at 201-626-6660 and let us know the bride and grooms name, the date and time to expect your party, your best guess on how many people you expect will show up, and your phone number. Since everyone will pay for themselves, your party can just walk in and take up space at the bar. If the bar gets a little crowded you are more than welcome to sit or stand anywhere you like in the dining room. The dining room is adjacent to the bar and it’s often empty after 11pm. There is more than enough space for 50-100 people on any given night after 11pm.
Music- Jukebox
Food- Kitchen closes at 10pm Sunday-Thursday and at 11pm on Friday and Saturday. There is a small late night food menu available from 11pm-1:30am ONLY on Friday and Saturday (click on menus tab for late night menu). If your wedding after party falls on a day Sunday through Thursday and it’s past 10pm, you are welcome to order food from another establishment and have it delivered here. Please make sure they provide you with one time use plates and utensils.
If you want a private section or a private room please call us at 201-626-6660 and speak with a manager. This option is best if you are covering the costs for all food and/or drinks.
